Celebrating 100 Flex Trainees: Highlights from our summer reception

Earlier this year, we welcomed clients, trainees, and legal industry leaders to the stunning IET Maxwell Library in London to celebrate a major milestone: placing our 100th Flex Trainee.

Since launching in 2021, Flex Trainee has connected over 100 aspiring lawyers from underrepresented and lower socioeconomic backgrounds with long-term, in-house legal placements, helping to bridge the social mobility gap and reshape the future of the legal profession.

Our short event video captures the energy and impact of the evening, including a welcome from Flex Legal CEO Kate Gaskell, reflections from Flex Trainees Ghazal Noory, Jasim-Ali Rhafi, and Erman Xiang, and a few words from client Matt Doyle, Lead Counsel at Vodafone Group.

We’re incredibly proud of how far the programme has come, and of every single trainee, client and supporter who’s helped us reach this milestone.
